Hunter |
In the 48th minute, a Granger player dribbled the ball past the Hunter defense toward the Hunter penalty area with only the goalkeeper between himself and the goal. The Granger attacker would have had an obvious opportunity to score a goal, but Hunter #47 Alejandro Barba grabbed the back of the Granger attacker's jersey and cynically held him to prevent the obvious goal-scoring opportunity. I stopped play for the foul and showed the red card to Mr. Barba for serious foul play for denying an obvious goal-scoring opportunity to an opponent by fouling him. |

Granger |
In the 80th minute, a Hunter player was running toward the Granger goal dribbling the ball. Only the Granger goalkeeper, Angel Escobedo, was between the Hunter attacker and the goal. Mr. Escobedo dove in an attempt to challenge his opponent for the ball, but the opponent had managed to kick the ball past him. Instead, Mr. Escobedo's dive tripped the Hunter attacker and prevented him from getting to the ball. If not for this foul, the attacker would have been able to shoot the ball toward an unprotected goal with a very high likelihood of scoring. As a result, Mr. Escobedo was shown the red card for serious foul play for denying an obvious goal-scoring opportunity to an opponent by fouling him. |

Herriman |
In the 72nd minute, Herriman #2 Jayson Sperry pursued an opponent with the ball near midfield. After the opponent passed the ball to a teammate, Mr. Sperry recklessly charged into his opponent's back. Mr. Sperry had no opportunity to challenge for the ball. This was a foul for recklessly charging an opponent. Due to these circumstances, Mr. Sperry was cautioned for unsporting conduct for displaying reckless play.
As I was displaying the yellow card to Mr. Sperry for the misconduct described above, Mr. Sperry said to me in dissent "What the fuck?" Due to the profane and disrespectful nature of Mr. Sperry's words, he was cautioned for dissent. This constituted Mr. Sperry's second caution of the contest and thus he was disqualified for receiving a subsequent caution. |
