The player yelled at me that I needed to call the game and that I was not a good referee. I told the player to keep his opinions to himself. The player continued to say this to me, and was also saying "Jesus Christ, you need to call that", or "You need to do you job, Jesus Christ". After speaking to the player twice about this he continued to do this again and as I was pulling out a yellow card, the player blew me off and said that he didn't care what I did. I then pulled the red card and showed it to the player. The player then continued to complain and argue with me and I had to tell the player twice to leave the field after he was carded.
After the game was over, the player continued to complain to me that if I cannot take a few simple words, I should not be out there.
It was obvious that the player has no interest in learning from what he did wrong, and continued to think that he was correct in what he said to me. |
