With 1:06 left in the 2Q Cyprus #33 intentionally batted the ball away from the baseline after a made basket. Cyprus was given a delay of game warning.
With 50.6 seconds left in the 4Q Cyprus #33 was called for a blocking foul, by myself, on the lower left block of the paint. Cyprus #33 proceeded to contest the call in a disrespectful manner saying his arms were up and kept his arms in the air while explaining. I told him he was right, but he had used his body and to"not come at me that way." He proceeded to continue to contest the call and began following me to the table.
While reporting the foul Cyprus #33 intentionally threw the basketball to the other end of the floor. He was immediately assessed a Technical Foul by Official Sean Morris. Cyprus #33 proceeded to the bench, walked past Coach Trey Smith and began walking back toward the scores table pointing and yelling, "you suck you suck." I issued Cyprus #33 a second technical foul for sportsmanship and he was ejected from the game. |

In the top of the third inning with one out and one runner on base, Cyprus hitter Jake Johnson (#9) came to bat. After taking the first pitch for a strike, Johnson requested for time to step out of the box and shake his head. As I told him to step back in the box, I heard Cyprus first base coach, Daniel Silva, yelling, while gesturing how he believes the catcher was catching the ball:
"That's 8 feet outside. That's 8 feet outside."
As Silva began walking down the line towards me, I told him to get back in his box and stop arguing.
He again said, "That's 8 feet outside."
I told him, "This is your warning for balls and strikes."
As I returned to my position behind home plate, I again heard Silva yelling, "That's 8 feet outside."
It was at this time I had told Silva he was restricted to the dugout.
Right before entering the dugout, Silva looked at me and said "Is this far enough or is this a strike too?"
It was at this point I ejected Silva from the game.
Following the ejection, Silva came out to the field and began asking, "Is this real life? Is this real life? Is this your first game?"
In the bottom of the fourth inning, my partner Aaron Harris, heard Silva making comments about me being horrible. Aaron told Silva he needs to leave the premises, and Silva remained just outside the dugout.
After the game, Aaron informed me that he, along with many players and fans, heard Silva call me a "weak ass pussy". |

Flagrant foul on a blindside block w/ targeting. With 54 seconds left in the 2nd Q, Westlake threw an interception into Cyprus' endzone. On the return, # 38 from Cyprus sized up a Westlake player who was not really a threat to the play and delivered what was determined to be a blindside, flagrant blow to the head using his own helmut to maximize the force of the blow. The player from Westlake waboutas knocked out on the play and was on the field for several minutes. After about 5 minutes, he left the field on his own feet, but with help from the coach and trainer. |
