At the 22nd minute of the game there was a shot on goal. Mr. Wilson and a player from Fremont were right in front of me (10 yards) and both bumped shoulders. The Fremont defender left and walked to my left and was 8-10 yards away from Mr. Wilson.
During the goal kick restart Mr. Wilson looked straight at the Fremont defender, made a sprint towards him, and then deliberately gave a two handed shove into the back of the Fremont player.
I saw intent to hurt or intimidate a player with the push in the back. Also, I could not see any reason why Mr. Wilson needed to make contact with the other player and with this happening relatively early in the game Mr. Wilson was ejected from the game for Violent Conduct. It could not be serious foul play as the play was no where near the two players. |
