N/A 03-15-2017 Skyridge Daniel G. Kelsey This is not an ejection report but an accident report. Rachel Billings #17 was the catcher in the bottom half of the 1st inning dove for a foul ball into a brick wall without her helmet on. There was no bleeding but it was felt it was better to remove her from the game. Her coach was in agreement. If more information is needed please contact me.
Asst Coach Gillman 2017-04-12 Pleasant Grove Jess Cornwell 2 outs force play at 3rd, I called from about 15 maybe 20 feet away at or near where the Short-Stop made a nice play fielding the ball and tossing from her knees to 3rd for the force. I wasn't closer because I was unsure where the SS might take her throw. I called the runner out. It being the 3rd out of the inning. I then moved to the pitching circle to dust the plate, it was then when I realized the the Asst Coach Gillman was in a B-line to me say she was safe in quite a load voice, it then I stopped and repeated in my judgement she was out. He continued to insist she was safe. I told he it was over, he heads for the dug-out yelling it was a horrible call. My partner Dan Roach kind of helps him into the dugout. I get to my normal position beyond 1st base, he comes out of the dugout and gestures to me "Safe-Call". With this I restrict him to the dugout. He gets in the dug-out and continues to voice she was safe. After about 10 seconds of him "carrying on" and walk toward the dug-out with the intention of ejecting him, I think differently, walk back to my position. He continues to carry-on infecting the girls in the dugout with his unsporting behavior. After what seemed like another 10 seconds I eventually feel enough is enough and eject him. He seemed happy with that or just made sarcastic remarks to that effect. Plate: Dan Roach Bases: Jess Cornwell
Northridge's Assistant coach 2017-04-17 Northridge Steve Webb Richard Eames was behind the plate and I was doing the bases. With no-one on base, the batter tried to hold up on her swing but couldn't. Richard couldn't tell, so when the catcher asked "did she swing", Richard asked me and he said Yes! The first base coach went off his rocker and displayed unsportsmanlike behavior. When I told him "that's enough", he ranted off some more unpleasant comments, so I told him he was out of here!
Head coach Katelyn Elliott 03/27/2018 Riverton Michael Robbins Bottom of 2 warning arguing illegal pitch call Bottom of 3 warning arguing illegal pitch call Bottom of 4 Restricted to the dugout / illegal pitch issue Top of the 5th head coach out to coach 3rd I reminded her she was restricted to the dugout and to return I gave two warnings at this time she refused to return and was ejected. She disparaged me personally at this time I had to remind her that she needed to leave the facility and she did so. 5 warnings and ejection. I have my notes on my lineup card should you require them.
Chuck Woodhouse 2018-04-13 Duchesne Jon McKenney So my partner Kevin Olsen called one of his players out at third on a appeal play that she missed the bag before making it home. He was the plate i was the base umpire so should have been my call me being the base umpire. A few plays later another runner came home and he came running down pointing at home plate yelling at his player to come back and touch home plate when it was obvious she already did. So he was showing him up as a umpire. I would have tossed him also. Kevin is a new official. He didn't even know we had to file a ejection report so I told him I would do it .
J.C. Douglas 2018-04-17 Utah Military Academy Steve Webb After the Academies third batter, North Summit came and said the batter was out of order. She should have been the sixth batter. I called the coach over and we had to call the batter out for being out of order. Two innings later, another Utah Militaries batter was way out of order. Calvin and I called both coaches over and the books keeper to straighten it all out. The Utah Military Academy wouldn't settle down and choose to be rejected. She was less than polite to listen and help us get it figured out. Apparently, the head coach wasn't there and the assistant gave us a different lineup that the coaches record keeper put down on the book. Where they had there was "a failure to communicate!"
T. Passarella 2018-04-24 Carbon Micah Yablonovsky After being called out, for hitting the ball with one foot completely out of the box, #2 said, "that's bull-shit". I walked down to Coach Williams in the 3rd base dugout and said, "that's a team warning for language". I paused & wrote down the warning. During the next batter's at bat, from the dugout, but loud enough for me to hear, #2 said, "why don't you give the warning to my face". I then heard her & another player say (again from the dugout, but loud enough for me to hear), "what did you say?", #2's response was "'you piece of shit'". At that point, #2 was ejected, and I informed Coach Williams she needed to leave the field area and be accompanied by an adult, as she headed toward the bus. No other issues occurred during the Varsity game. Base umpire was Rick Heilbut. Carbon won the game 28-2.
