MIDVALE, Utah (February 23, 2021) - In a press release Tuesday, the Utah High School Activities Association released its 'Safe Participation Protocols' for the spring activity season.
The Association's guidelines address sport-by-sport measures that can be taken to assist in COVID-19 risk mitigation, along with guidelines that are recommended to be followed at all UHSAA sanctioned activities. Schools and local school districts have the ability to make risk mitigation decisions in conjunction with advisement from their local health departments.
The UHSAA is the leadership organization for high school athletic and fine arts activities in Utah. Since 1927, the UHSAA has led the development of education-based interscholastic athletic and fine arts activities that help students succeed in their lives.
