May also be needed on Thursday night JV home games. But Varsity is the priority. Great way to get some experience or to help out in the community if you are a nurse, EMT, or firefighter. If you love football, this could be for you! Free football, and basic first responder type of work. Paramedics will also be on site for more serious scenarios. Description: Lone Peak High School is seeking a dynamic, highly qualified candidate to serve as Head Drill Team Coach/Advisor to grow the program. Candidates are desired to have experience and knowledge in drill team and/or coaching at the high school, all-star, and/or college levels, be skilled in choreography, tumbling, cheer-dance and competition. The Mission of the Lone Peak High School drill program is to generate school spirit and promote sportsmanship at school athletic and other events by coordinating efforts with the cheerleaders and student council. A balanced emphasis is placed on success in competitive drill team. Coach/Advisor is expected to work with adult advisers/coaches of school athletic teams, cheer squad, spirit team, student council and administration to coordinate spirit efforts to benefit the student body and surrounding community. This coaching position does not require a teaching certificate. Head Coaches who are eminently qualified to teach the drill class will be paid the hourly teacher rate ($29.21) for one class period throughout the school year (est. 90 days), plus the Alpine District board approved extra-curricular stipends for high school drill coach as follows: Head Coach /$1732.00 A teaching position may be available with this position if your skill set matches positions that are currently hiring at the school. The head coach would be expected to plan, organize and run practices, which are held during an athletic class period at the end of the school day starting approximately at 1:00 PM. The position at this point does not come with a full-time teaching position. There is a stipend which covers duties performed in-season, and hourly teacher pay which covers practice time during the athletic class period. The position is open until filled.
